2008

  1. The 2008 Manson Apple Blossom Festival will be held May 9th and 10th.

  2. The festivities begin with Nostalgia night at the Manson United Methodist Church on Friday beginning at 7:00 pm.

  3. Begin Saturday morning with the Kiwanis pancake breakfast at the Grange Hall.

  1. Visit the Quilt Show upstairs which this year features quilts from “Golden” anniversaries.

  2. With the theme of the festival “Golden Glamour” look for the Manson float leading the parade featuring this years royalty, Queen Sierra Ellsworth, and Princesses, Keisha Neff and Laura Cross.  The float is designed and decorated by the Queen’s mother, Diane Ellsworth.  Diane has been doing the float for a number of years and what an honor to have her daughter selected as Queen this year to ride the beautiful float.

  3. The parade begins at 10 am and travels down Manson’s main street.  Also this year the motorcycle group, the Cossack’s will be in the parade.

  4. Immediately following the Parade, head down to the North Shore Bible Church for a homemade chicken noodle dinner.  This is a good opportunity to visit with friends and neighbors.

  5. Along main street you will find the street fair, along with food vendors.  Manson Idol will again be held at the Manson Bay Park Entrance.  This features local talent competing for prizes.

  6. This years’ pageant will be held in the Grange Hall beginning at 5:00.  Following the pageant, there will be a dance featuring the band “The Sharps.”

  7. Visit Apple Blossom headquarters to get your button, t-shirt, sweatshirt or hat.

Welcome!
